‘Nella needs time to process her jungle experience’: I’m a Celeb star Postpones commitment to appear on Lorraine after being eliminated from show for second time – as her brother flies to meet her in Australia

I’m a Celeb Displaced Nella Rose has been reunited with her brother who flew to Australia to be by her side after becoming the second campmate to be voted out of the jungle.

The 26-year-old influencer has postponed her television appearance on ITV’s Lorraine, which was due to take place on Tuesday, after needing a day of ‘rest and recovery’.

Nella’s brother Albert, 27, landed at Brisbane airport hours after being given the boot by hosts Ant and Dec, with the star not met by anyone as she crossed the show’s famous bridge.

Friends of Nella told MailOnline she needs a day to ‘process’ her time on the ITV series, which saw the presenter challenge politician Nigel Farage and fall out with Fred Sirieix.

It is understood Nella will join Lorraine’s show on Wednesday, but for now her priority is catching up with her brother, who she saw emotionally again after weeks in the Aussie camp.

Sam Thompson’s best friend Pete Wicks and Fred Sirieix’s fiancée, known as Fruitcake, greeted Nella with applause as she arrived at the Marriott hotel on Australia’s Gold Coast.

A source close to Nella told MailOnline: ‘All Nella needs at the moment is a day to relax and process all the events from her time on I’m A Celeb.

‘While she absolutely loved her experience, there was also a lot to process and discuss with ITV and her team, but she did not feel ready to be interviewed by Lorraine on live television.

“Her brother Albert arrived in Australia shortly after she was kicked off the show, and it means the world to her to have him by her side.

‘It may have seemed like no one from her area had met her as she crossed the I’m A Celeb bridge, but her brother wasn’t far away.’

Ant and Dec revealed that Nella had received the fewest votes from the public on Monday.

She became the second celebrity to leave the camp, after 52-year-old jockey Frankie Dettori, who blamed his elimination on his lack of airtime.

Nella endured eight Bushtucker Trials during her appearance on the show, but her biggest challenge was living with former UKIP leader Nigel and First Dates star Fred.

The YouTuber’s relationship with Fred became strained after he remarked “I could be your dad” during a conversation about their age difference, prompting a negative response from Nella, who lost her father in 2020.

Nella became the second campmate to leave the competition on Monday evening, with JSL singer Marvin Humes also in the bottom two

“Only once will I allow people to disrespect me. Don’t start about my dead parent, are you stupid? “You know I could be your father, right?” You’re a fool.’

After their disagreement, Nella and Fred made up while taking part in one of the show’s challenges.

But its fallout sparked a debate among viewers, with some feeling Nella overreacted and others sympathizing with the terrible loss she has suffered.

Nella lost both her parents, her father Paul Hollela died in May 2020 after contracting the coronavirus and her mother Eseho Omolongo died in August 2016 from a stroke.

She became homeless after she and brother Albert were given just 30 days to leave their London flat following the tragic death of their mother.
