THE world’s first space hotel with fantastic views of the entire Earth will open next year.

It appears guests can now reserve their spot aboard the all-inclusive luxury hotel, which has rooms that are “filled with gravity.”

The American space company Above Space, formerly known as Orbital Assembly, wants to launch two space stations with tourist accommodation: Voyager Station and Pioneer Station.

Pioneer Station, described by Above Space as “the first gravity-based space station, where commerce, research and leisure thrive in space,” could be operational next one year.

It will house 28 people and be a smaller version of Voyager Station, which is expected to accommodate 400 people and open in 2027.

Both are expected to resemble a rotating wheel spinning around the Earth, with renderings of interiors not unlike those of a luxury hotel on the ground – only with surreal views of the solar system.

The compact and stylish rooms on board the ship have views, a bed and a desk for the most remote work possible.

Above Space said on its website that guests can now book their next luxury resort vacation in space at Pioneer Station.

The ad read: “Reserve your spot aboard the world’s first all-inclusive luxury space hotel and enjoy incredible views of space from the comfort of your own gravity-filled hotel room.

“In the Pioneer Station you will experience comfort that is not available on other space platforms.”

The four to eighteen hour journey to the station will cost guests at least $55 million (£43 million), Far away reports.

And the hotel costs would be paid on top of launch costs – which Above Space says will drop significantly in the coming years due to technological advances.

The station will offer all the “comforts” you could experience on Earth, such as showers and the ability to eat and drink while sitting, thanks to artificial gravity.

But guests can also enjoy a special space where gravity is lower and they can float and spin like an astronaut.

Above Space Chief Operating Officer Tim Alatorre said the goal of the Pioneer Station was to accelerate progress in enabling large numbers of people to live, work and thrive in space.

The original design, Voyager Station, will be able to house hundreds of additional people, but its larger scale means it will take years to be completed and operational.

Mr. Alatorre told it CNN Travels in 2022: “It is [Pioneer Station is] It gives us the opportunity to let people experience the space on a larger scale more quickly.”

Above Space wants to run a spatial ‘business park’ with office spaces and facilities – where scientists can test rocket engines, space habitats and other technologies – and hotel rooms for tourists.

The office spaces and research facilities will be available for rent at both Pioneer Station and Voyager Station, which Mr. Alatorre said will help his company as its short-term goals depend on financing.

Mr. Alatorre added that Above Space’s hotel should feel like a “sci-fi dream.”

He said: “It won’t be like going to a factory or a research facility.

“There aren’t wires everywhere, it’s a comfortable space where you feel at home.”

Guests at the Pioneer hotel can also participate in activities such as stargazing and dining at the first full-service restaurant to ever operate in space.

The larger Voyager is expected to have larger rooms, a lounge bar and even a basketball court.
