New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, known for his hilarious social media posts, was recently hilariously spotted asking for a special request from the team management. He asked the franchise to play as an opener in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.

RR shared a video on ‘X’, formerly known as Twitter, in which Yuzvendra Chahal asked the franchise to switch his role with opener Jos Buttler, here is the clip:

“Joss (Buttler) bhai, I am the new opener. How many (runs) did he score? 870? I’m going to score 1000.” Notably, Joss Buttler won the Orange Cap in IPL 2022 and scored 863 runs for Rajasthan Royals in that performance,” Chahal said in a video.

Chahal has an impressive IPL career as he took 187 wickets in his 145 IPL outings at an average of 21.69. Rajasthan Royals will play their opening match against Lucknow Super Giants on March 24 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
