IRCTC Latest News: Indian Railways to operate six Holi special trains connecting Ludhiana: Check route, timings and full list

Holi special trains: Keeping in mind the festive rush for passengers ahead of the Holi festival, Indian Railways said it will run six special Holi trains connecting Ludhiana. According to the Indian Railways, these Holi Special trains will run from March 18 to April 1, connecting Ludhiana to all major cities of India. The Indian Railways said that these trains will stop at Ludhiana during the journey.

  • The New Delhi Festival Special Express Train (04033/04034) will run from March 22 to 29, the Northern Railway said. This train departs from New Delhi around 11:45 PM and returns at 9:30 AM the next day. This New Delhi Festival Special Express train stops at Ludhiana on its way to Udhampur and back.
  • The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi-Katra-New Delhi Festival special express train (04075/04076) will operate on March 24 and 31 and will stop at Ludhiana en route to Katra on both the first leg of the journey and the return journey. As per the schedule, the train will leave New Delhi around 11:45 PM and return at 9:30 AM the next day.
  • The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Varanasi Festival special express train (01654/01653) will run on March 24 and 31 and en route to Varanasi, the train will stop at Ludhiana on both the first leg of the journey and the return journey. As per the schedule, the train will leave Katra at 11:35 PM and return at 11:25 AM the next day.
  • The Subedarganj Superfast Express special train (04141/04142) will run on March 18, 25 and April 1 and will leave Subedarganj for Jammu around 4:10 PM and return at 12:50 PM the next day.
  • Similarly, the Amritsar-Gorakhpur-Amritsar Festival Express train will run from Gorakhpur to Amritsar on March 20 and 27 and return the next day. This train will run from Chhapra railway station to Amritsar on March 22 and 29.
