Is the COVID-19 vaccine the cause of heart attacks in young people? ICMR emphasizes 3 points

A recent study was conducted by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) to assess the link between heart attacks and COVID1-19 vaccines. The study’s preliminary findings were released on Tuesday to clarify whether COVID-19 shots are the cause of heart problems in the younger population. The study found that there is no clear link between COVID-19 vaccinations and the increased risk of death among young adults in India.

There are certain points emphasized by ICMR. According to the study, these cause an increased risk of sudden deaths among young adults

  • Binge eating, intense physical activity within 48 hours before death.
  • Family history of sudden deaths
  • Previous COVID-19 hospitalization
  • Family history of sudden deaths.

ICMR RESEARCH SAYS NO LINK BETWEEN SUDDEN DEATH AND COVID SHOTS

The study conducted a comprehensive analysis focusing on sudden deaths among Indian adults aged 18 to 45 years. The cases studied involved apparently healthy individuals between the ages of 18 and 45 without any underlying health conditions, who died unexpectedly between October 1, 2021 and March 31, 2023.

Several studies have shown a possible link between COVID-19 shots and an increased incidence of heart attacks. However, the latest ICMR study shows that studies show that COVID-19 vaccines are not the cause of these deaths. Earlier, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya highlighted frequent cases of heart attacks during the Navrati dance in Gujarat. He warned that if someone has a severe case of COVID-19, it is advisable to take it easy for one to two years. “Avoid strenuous exercise or excessive work, as this can lead to a sudden cessation of your heart function.” said the Minister of Health.
