New Delhi: Pakistani actress Mahira Khan may be expecting her first child with husband Salim Karim. Or at least that's what a viral post on Reddit claims. The actress married a Pakistani businessman in October last year. She already has a 14-year-old child with her first husband.
Rumors started circulating Monday night after a person on Reddit claimed as much Mahira has put her projects on hold as she is about to embrace motherhood for the second time. The post added that she has opted out of her critically acclaimed Netflix special 'Jo Bachey Sang Samait Lo', which was set to go on floors this year. The post claimed, “So I got this news from a close source that she has opted out of the prized Netflix project in addition to a major movie as she is expecting her second child sometime in August or September. An announcement may or may not be made soon if she chooses to announce it after the birth, but since she is a huge celebrity and can't keep it quiet for long, I personally feel like she will announce it (sic ).
Mahira Khan has a 14-year-old son Azlan
Mahira first embraced pregnancy in the year 2009 after marrying Ali Askari. The duo divorced on mutual basis in 2015. Previously, the actress spoke about her family dynamics on a podcast and revealed that she shares an amicable equation with her ex-husband. She added that her son Azlan gets along well with Aksari's son from his second marriage.
Mahira is one of the biggest names in Pakistan's film and television industry. She is known for her incredible performances in projects like Humsafar, Razia, Bon Roye And Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay among other things. She was seen in her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the 2016 film Raees. A few years ago, several rumors also suggested that she was dating Ranbir Kapoor after the two were clicked together in London.
Neither Mahira nor her team has spoken out about the rumors surrounding her pregnancy.
