Jack Grealish’s face looks concerned as he rushes through the Goodison Park tunnel after receiving a message from a Manchester City staffer.

Pictures and video show the moment after City beat Everton 3-1 on Wednesday night when the England star may have been informed about the terrifying raid on his country home that left his family ‘freaked out’ and £1million worth of jewelery stolen.

Manel Estiarte, City’s head of player support and protocol, rushes onto the pitch and sees Grealish pull aside before having a private conversation with him.

Grealish’s expression changes quickly as the situation is likely explained to him by Estiarte before heading straight to the dressing room.

It is believed 10 family members – including Grealish’s fiancée Sasha Attwood, parents, two sisters and brother – were watching the match before being alerted by dogs barking and noises upstairs.

The family were forced to flee and hide to take cover in the £5.6 million mansion that Grealish only moved into before Christmas, while police told neighbors to lock their doors and stay in their homes.

Police, fearing they would face a possible hostage situation, rushed to the scene and even ordered a helicopter to search the area, but the perpetrators were able to escape with £1 million worth of jewellery.

A source told the Sun: ‘The family is really shocked. The gang took a lot of watches and jewelry.

‘They carried out their raid as Manchester City were playing live on TV and his whole family had gathered downstairs to cheer him on.

‘No one was injured, but there was a lot of panic. Everyone was terrified because they were all so vulnerable.

‘It’s a huge building, so it’s understandable that no one heard anything at first. It was also the family’s first time visiting, so they were unfamiliar with the property.

“When the dogs went crazy and heard people crawling around, they pressed the panic alarm.”

Mail Sport’s Jack Gaughan reports that after City’s 3-1 win at Goodison Park, Grealish stormed down the tunnel at the end of the match, which looked unusual.

The Cheshire incident comes weeks later West Ham star Kurt Zouma and his family were left ‘traumatised’ after an armed gang robbed their £3million home and stole £100,000 worth of cash and jewellery.

The gang of thugs ransacked the Hammers captain’s home in Essex late December 2 while he was relaxing with his wife Sandra and their children.

29-year-old Frenchman Zouma was missing from West Ham’s squad when they drew 1-1 against Crystal Palace after the raid. This led to a police warning to neighbors amid fears that an organized crime group could strike again.

News of the ordeal left West Ham fans stunned. The club offered a £25,000 reward for information leading to the gang’s arrest.

In a statement, the club said: ‘West Ham United have offered a reward of £25,000 for information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of burglars who broke into the home of defender Kurt Zouma on the eve of the Premier League match of the club against Crystal Palace this weekend. .
