Jackie 'O' Henderson's business partner Gemma O'Neill has denied that the couple lost money at their event hosted by Gwyneth Paltrow in October.

The speaking engagement, the first organized by the duo's business venture Besties, saw the A-list actress fly to Sydney for a one-night performance.

Despite having a Hollywood-themed card, the event, which was held at the ICC theatre, was only half full – but O'Neill insists this was intentional.

“Look, we're not professional events people and we're very new to this game, but we're really proud of the fact that we wanted to do it and we like it,” O'Neill shared. The Daily Telegraph.

'The ICC is the only location with more than 2,000 seats. You can book it at full capacity or at half capacity,” she added.
