Jadon Sancho will not return to Man Utd unless Ten Hag is sacked
MANCHESTER UNITED are ready for an almost £40million hit on Jadon Sancho.
The player refuses to return unless boss Erik ten Hag is fired.
The winger, who was signed from Borussia Dortmund for £73 million in 2021, has been loaned back to the German team after his spectacular failure at ETH.
And SunSport understands Dortmund are willing to offer £35million to make the deal permanent this summer.
United’s leaders have given up on any reconciliation between Ten Hag and Sancho.
The 23-year-old essentially called Dutchman Ten Hag a liar after the Old Trafford manager said he had not performed well in training.
Sancho refused to apologize and was forced to train with the academy players before moving to Dortmund in January where he began to regain his form.
United’s new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has given Ten Hag no guarantee he will be in charge next season and the club are keeping a close eye on Sancho’s performances in Germany.
Sancho was included in the Dortmund squad after his loan spell in January due to a lack of fitness following his spell in United exile.
He has played eight Bundesliga games for BVB so far, two of which came from the bench.

During those eight appearances he managed to score one goal and two assists.
In a standout performance last night in the Champions League last 16 with PSV, he scored the opener as Dortmund reached the quarter-finals.
That will see not only Dortmund, but other clubs in Europe take a chance on the winger as he tries to return to his best form.
