The fight will see Paul, 27, face Tyson, 57, and will be broadcast live on Netflix.

It is unclear as of yet whether it will be a professional or an exhibition fight.

But Paul was quick to disparage online rumors about the rules of battle.

It was claimed on TikTok that some quirky additions would be made to help the YouTuber out.

One of the stipulations discussed was that Paul would be allowed to wear a headguard while Tyson would not.

While another claimed he could tag his WWE star brother Logan.

Appears on the Regarding podcast, Paul could barely hide his annoyance at the claims.

He said: “It’s so sad that millions of people believe that. It’s fucking absurd. Obviously, none of that is true.

“They’re so damn stupid. Anyone who thinks so should not vote.

“Actually, this is what I was thinking: There should be hidden tests throughout life that qualify you to vote or not.

Mike Tyson tipped to ‘knock Jake Paul into a pile of dust’ with brutal punches ‘like being hit by a wing’

‘And they don’t know whether they’re taking a test or not.

“The fact that these people not only drive around our streets, but can also vote? They drive cars there! They’re stupid as f*** and it’s sad.

“We live in a fucked up world. Man is getting dumber and dumber every day. It’s crazy.”

Paul extended his professional boxing record to 9-1 in February when he defeated Ryan Bourland in Puerto Rico.

While former heavyweight king Tyson has not fought professionally since losing to Kevin McBride in 2005.

But he did face Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition in November 2020.

Current WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is a fan of the controversial Paul vs. Tyson match.

He told The pounding ground: “I love boxing.

“You have a legend in Mike Tyson. You have a YouTube boxer who came into the game and blew it up and he has millions of followers and millions of views and millions of eyes.

“Good, bad or indifferent. Some people love him, some people hate him.

“So I think it’s a very good spectacle for boxing. It brings a lot of people to the game.

“And listen, who am I to say, ‘Oh, Mike Tyson shouldn’t be boxing or Jake Paul shouldn’t be boxing,’ good luck to them.”

“They’re both going to make what I call a lot of money from it. So that’s not the point?’
