“I will soon reveal the details of what exactly happened that night,” she revealed in the statement.

“For now, we ask for prayers and privacy until I and my family recover from this terrifying experience. Thank you to everyone who is helping us catch this perpetrator,” Evans concluded.

The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office confirmed there was an attempted burglary at her home.

The Sheriff’s Office added that a deputy responded to Evans’ home for a call about a burglary, but the suspect had fled by the time he arrived.

The unknown person attempted to break into the back of the home, but was unable to gain entry.

He then entered Evans’ garage and began throwing some of her personal items from the garage onto her lawn.

The deputy reported that no items were missing from the home, although the lock on the back door where the man attempted to enter was damaged.

This comes after a report on Friday revealed that her husband David Eason is planning to file for divorce from Evans after she allegedly kicked him and his 16-year-old daughter Maryssa out of her home.

It also comes after Evans was reunited with her eldest son Jace, 14, who was removed from her home by Child Protective Services after Eason allegedly attacked Jace in September 2023.

“For now, we ask for prayers and privacy until I and my family recover from this terrifying experience. Thank you to everyone who is helping us catch this perpetrator,” Evans concluded

“I would appreciate it if everyone respected my son’s privacy so he can get his mental health under control,” she said before adding that “someone is already leaking information.”

She said it was likely Jace’s father, Andrew Lewis, or her mother, Barbara Evans, because they are the “only two people who knew the information.”
