The Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills battled it out in a divisional playoff game on Sunday, January 21 to determine who will advance to the AFC Championship Game.

The Chiefs ultimately won the game, with a final score of 27-24. The Chiefs will next take on the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday, January 28 at M&T Bank Stadium in Maryland. The winners will then play the Detroit Lions or San Francisco 49ers – depending on the results of the NFC Championship Game – in Super Bowl LVII in Las Vegas on February 11.

The Chiefs and the Bills were due for a rematch after their controversial regular season game in December 2023. The Bills went on to beat the Chiefs, with Mahomes, 28, becoming visibly angry on the sideline, yelling at the officials and throwing his helmet.
