Karnataka minor boy stripped naked and paraded naked by students for not joining in worshiping Ambedkar’s photo

The victim’s father explained in his complaint that his son was not only stripped half-naked but also forced to hold Ambedkar’s photo while he was paraded.

Kalaburagi: In a shocking incident that took place in Kalaburagi district of Karnataka, a minor boy was stripped naked and paraded naked by a group of students. The incident took place at a government hostel where the victim was staying. The reason behind the incident was that the boy had allegedly not participated in worshiping BR Ambedkar’s photo. The incident has sparked outrage and a complaint has been filed against the accused students at Ashok Nagar police station in Kalaburagi town.

According to police, the victim, who was studying at a Pre-University College, informed the group of students that he would not be able to attend the worship program last Sunday due to other commitments. However, this explanation did not satisfy the group and they resorted to attacking the boy. The situation escalated further when students from other hostels joined the attack.

The victim’s father explained in his complaint that his son was not only stripped half-naked but also forced to hold Ambedkar’s photo while he was paraded. The accused students fled the scene when they saw a police vehicle in the area.

Police have video footage of the incident and are currently investigating the matter. This incident has once again underlined the need for stricter measures to prevent such acts of violence and discrimination.

The incident has received widespread condemnation from various sections of society. Many have called for swift action against the perpetrators and for the authorities to ensure such incidents do not occur.
