Katie Price delighted her fans this week after singing A Whole New World during a performance in a Sleeping Beauty pantomime.

The former glamor model, 45, plays The Wicked Fairy Carabosse at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena and rakes in £60,000 for the gig.

She has received scathing reviews for her performances so far and has admitted to making mistakes during her first week of the show.

But on Thursday she was praised by her fans after a pantomime attendee shared a clip of Katie singing Aladdin’s signature 1992 song on TikTok.

Katie covered the song with her ex-husband Peter Andre in December 2006 for his fifth studio album.

They performed the song live together several times, including during the BBC’s Children In Need appeal in 2005.

In the video, Katie can be seen flashing her cleavage as she wears her daring sequin costume and a horned headpiece.

She takes on her villainous role and declares, “Pathetic! The curse is in place and nothing can change my mind. Not even if you let me sing,” before bursting into song.

Another character abruptly interrupts to scoff, “Nobody wants to listen to that,” while Katie angrily says, “Evil always wins!”

Fans took to the comments to praise Katie’s performance, with one writing: ‘Love Katie! Good performer’.

Another echoed: ‘Yes she’s absolutely brilliant, long live the pricey’, while a third added: ‘She’s really good’.

Someone else said: ‘She’s a legend, long live the award’, while a fifth wrote: ‘So nice to hear something positive, she deserves it, everyone deserves a second chance.’

It comes after Katie confessed she ‘balled up’ her lines and made them up during her first week in the pantomime.

Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, she admitted, “I’m broken, broken. If I have to read one more line of script, my head is about to explode.

‘For the past six days I’ve had to learn a full script, dance songs for panto that I don’t know or have never even heard of.

‘Besides my nerves. The stress I put on myself this week is ridiculous. I padded my lines and had to make some stuff up, so hopefully no one noticed.

‘Before I step on stage, my thoughts are blank because I’m so tired. I need reassurance: this is new to me.

“I’m doing fine on TV, podcasting, talking about myself, but when you have to learn a script and you have people who have paid for tickets, you have to be good.”

The podcast release comes as panto organizers have slashed ticket prices for the show following negative reviews online.

Katie has been hit during her first series of shows after being called a ‘disgrace’ and accused of not bothering to learn the pantomime’s dance routines.

Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena, where the panto is held, is offering a 25 percent discount on Sleeping Beauty tickets.

Speaking about taking part in the show, an excited Katie had previously said: ‘I’m so excited to be performing in Liverpool. I love the city and can’t wait to take my kids and make great memories.”

However, after a video surfaced of her dancing out of time for opening night, fans were quick to express their annoyance.

Comments seen by The sun, including: “Maybe, just maybe, Katie Price can learn the routines. She was an absolute disgrace.

‘It’s clear to see how hard the other cast members have worked. It’s very clear she thinks she can get up without any trouble!!!’

Another raged: ‘Lol you barely had any words, didn’t rehearse and played Bippo off stage. Well done, you can’t sing or act. Your family must be so ashamed.”

It’s not the first time Katie has been hit with cruel comments from trolls, as after she gave her Instagram followers an insight into the show, she faced a barrage of negative comments saying she couldn’t sing or act .

It comes after her pantomime co-star teased her for having learned only ‘two of her 25 lines’ despite the high salary.

Comedian Bippo, who plays The Castle Clown in the show, joked about the reality star as he warmed up the audience in the hall in early December.

He said: ‘This is the show starring Katie Price, she’s amazing. She actually learned two of her 25 lines, it’s fantastic.’

Making it clear he was trying to get the crowd laughing, he added: “I’m kidding, you’ll see her. She’s absolutely amazing.’

Katie will star in the panto until December 30, ending her run at the 11,000 capacity venue just before early 2024.

In addition to starring in Sleeping Beauty, she will also play Queen Rat in the adults-only Big Dick Whittington and his Pussy.
