Kim Cattrall is now open to “fighting aging any way she can”…despite previous fears of surgery

Kim Cattrall, 66, has proudly stated that she’s open to preventing the aging process “any way she can.”

In 2008, she confessed that she was afraid of plastic surgery because “I don’t want to look in the mirror and not recognize who is looking back.”

But in a staggering sight, she revealed during a new interview with Sunday Times that cosmetic procedures are currently on the table.

Echoing her earlier fears, however, she emphasized the importance of finding “the right surgeon,” arguing, “You want to look like yourself!”

It emerged last week that Kim will briefly reprise her role in Sex And The City in season two of the spin-off And Just Like That…, after previously refusing to have anything to do with the new series and announcing that she would “continue had gone’. .’

Kim suggested that she was previously averse to going under the knife because she was younger, and that with age came a change of heart.

‘I probably said that when I was forty! I’m now in my 60s and I’m all for fighting aging by any means necessary. There are so many other alternatives now, treatments that stimulate your own body to fight aging,” she said.

Kim told a horror story from years ago when she accompanied a friend who was hoping to get work done to a plastic surgeon’s office.

It had not escaped Kim’s attention that the women in the waiting room all bore a clear resemblance to the plastic surgeon’s girlfriend, whose photo was shown.

“And I thought, this is what he’s doing, he’s doing this woman. But I want to look like the best version of myself. So whatever I can do because luckily I have the means to do that,” said Kim, who became a global celebrity on Sex And The City.

“It’s not just vanity. I play a certain kind of woman who looks a certain way. And professionally I take care of myself.’

She sang a very different tune in a 2011 interview with the Daily Mail, saying, “In my life and career, I want to embrace aging because I think it’s interesting. “I think a forehead without lines doesn’t mean they’ve lived a life.”

When And Just Like That… was first announced, fans were disappointed to see that Kim would not be returning to play the promiscuous, irrepressible Samantha Jones.

However, Kim’s absence was not surprising in the wake of the years-long feud between her and her former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker.

Their comparison was so damaging that when Kim’s brother Chris committed suicide, Sarah Jessica publicly expressed her condolences and Kim responded by furiously accusing her of “exploiting our tragedy to restore your ‘nice girl’ personality.”

Now it’s alleged that Kim filmed her And Just Like That… cameo without ever coming face-to-face with Sarah Jessica — or anyone else in the cast.

Samantha Jones will reportedly make her brief appearance in the form of a phone call to Sarah Jessica’s character Carrie Bradshaw.

Evan Handler, who plays a supporting role in the series, shared People that Kim’s part was “shot somewhere in the garage with no contact with anyone, so the only place I can welcome her is in my living room if it’s televised.”
