Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) IPL 2024 trading window: All eyes are on the IPL trading window as the retention deadline (November 26) is finally here. All ten franchises must submit their full list of released and retained players. The Indian Premier League auction will take place in Dubai on December 19.

KKR finished at seventh place in the points table with 6 wins in 14 matches. The two-time champion is keen to put in a better performance in the upcoming edition of the cash-rich competition. The Kolkata-based franchise currently has INR 1.65 crore in its pocket and would be keen to add some big names to its roster ahead of the upcoming season.

Shreyas Iyer will be in charge once again and after a stellar performance in the recently concluded ICC ODI World Cup 2023, the star batsman will be confident and keen to lead his team from the front. The team also has heavy hitters like Rinku Singh and Andre Russell.

Gautam Gambhir returns to his home in Calcutta, but this time as a mentor to the team. He captained the team in their two title wins. He is keen to help the franchise secure their third IPL title. According to reports, KKR is likely to release Lockie Ferguson, Tim Southee, Mandeep Singh and David Weise.
