The 25-year-old Mbappe had a difficult time attacking as PSG failed to gain the upper hand over their rivals on Friday.

Luis Enrique’s men dominated the ball but could only muster seven shots on target.

And Mbappe felt his manager’s wrath when he was taken off the pitch during the break.

The French star is reportedly leaving PSG when his contract expires this summer.

It is believed he has already agreed a free transfer to Real Madrid.

And after being taken off the pitch, Mbappe did not return to sit on PSG’s bench.

Instead, he was seen alongside his mother Fayza in the Monaco stands.

And he watched the rest of the match there, leaving fans stunned.

Mbappe was also seen winking at the camera as he later walked through the tunnel while talking on his mobile phone.

Mbappe joined PSG from Monaco in 2018 for £150m after spending the previous season on loan at the French capital.

Explaining the decision to sack Mbappe, PSG boss Enrique said: “I have been in football for a long time, you have to know that everything is important at these types of clubs.

“Sooner or later we will play without Mbappé, we have to get used to that.”
