Betis medical staff rushed to help Porras after Chimy Avila’s goal was confirmed in the 13th minute following a VAR check, which halted play.

Porras was then transferred to an ambulance after being placed on a stretcher.

Initially it was unclear what caused the incident.

But according to Relevo, Porras was left bloodied after colliding with a close-up cameraman from Dazn who was filming the opener’s festivities.

After a lengthy delay on the sidelines, the referee was replaced by the fourth official Holgueras Castellanos.

Porras received off-field applause from the crowd at the Benito Villamarin as her condition appeared to improve.

LaLiga veteran referee Eduardo Iturralde Gonzalez urged league president Javier Tebas to speak to the cameramen.

He told Cadena SER: “Message to Javier Tebas: the camera goes where it shouldn’t.
