Lindsay Lohan has learned a lot since her and her husband’s birth Bader Shammasson, Luai, in July 2023.
Lohan opened up in March 2024 about how becoming a mother has changed her perspective on her acting career.
“I want to do things that my son can see. But I also want to do things that inspire me,” she said E! News at the time. “It is a learning process, I deal with it differently. Figuring out what I want to do and how I want to do it.”
Lohan went on to explain how she’s grateful that Luai is “young” so she can “take him everywhere,” even on set.
“He’s with me everywhere because I don’t want to leave him,” she told the outlet. “But I think it will definitely play a bigger role as time goes on.”

Who she turned to for advice

In August 2023, Lohan gave an update on her postpartum life.

Lohan said her son was recently watching The parent trap on TV and it made her super emotional.
“I started crying because I thought: he doesn’t even know that this is mommy yet,” she said on The Drew Barrymore Show in March 2024. “I was like, should I turn it off or should I just… he just stared. Because maybe my voice is still the same as it was then. So I was like, maybe he knows, kind of that it’s me because it looks like me. But it was truly a magical moment. I took countless pictures of it.”
