I forgo the overspending, my $10 purchase colors my lips longer than Benetint

A beauty influencer has traded in a cult-favorite shade for a $10 dupe that performs better.

She said the beauty dupe even left stains on her lips for much longer than the real thing.

Tiffany (@_tiffayau_) shared the makeup find in a video with her TikTok followers.

She explained that she hoped to put the overspending on cosmetics behind her by 2023.

“There is no reason to spend $24 on Benetint if this exists,” she said.

“This is the Ulta Beauty Collection Water Stain and it literally only costs $10. It's currently on sale at Ulta, so even better.

Tiffany explained that the product doubled as a lip stain and blush for her, just like the $24 Benetint.

“I usually just apply it to the center of my lips. I feel like it works better than the Benetint,” she said.

“It definitely stains my lips longer and I know some people use Benetint on their cheeks so I'm just going to try it here.”

After applying some of the tint to her cheekbones, she was rewarded with a healthy glow.

“Very cute. I think the application speaks for itself. It tans a little faster and stronger than Benetint,” she said.

“I highly recommend it and I think you should save your money to spend on other products.”

People agreed that they haven't looked back since switching to the Ulta dupe.

“I swear by this shade with a reddish brown lip liner,” said one commenter.

“Really, Benetint who?” joked another.

“Literally, I have Benetint and it sucks,” said a third.
