Shereene (@shereeneidriss) shared the beauty hack in a TikTok video.

“Cleansing hack with micellar water when you're out of cotton pads… because toilet paper sucks and we all know it,” she said.

“If your cleanser isn't great at removing makeup… and you don't have cotton pads, add a few drops of micellar water to your cleanser.”

Instead of foaming the cleanser with water, she rubbed the solution between her fingers and applied it manually to her face.

“Use it on dry skin to take off makeup,” she said.

Shereene massaged the micellar water and cleanser combination into her face in circular motions and rubbed the tester eyeliner she drew on.

“That was waterproof eyeliner all over my face,” she said.

“If you're in a pinch and don't want to use toilet paper on your face because we all know that sucks, mix it with your cleanser.”

People thanked her for sharing the helpful skincare trick.

“This woman always has the best ideas!” said one fan.

I hate to brag, but I found a phenomenal $38 primer dupe for $8 – my skin was like silk and my makeup lasted all night_

“You are my favorite dermatologist! Love the tips and honesty,” said another.

“Wait, this is so clever,” said a third.

Many noticed that she could skip a cleansing step by combining two products instead of washing her face twice.

“Oh yeah, honey. Basically double cleansing,” said one commenter.

Some couldn't wait to trick themselves with hard-to-remove cosmetics.

“I'm going to try this on my mascara. I use baby oil to remove it because it's so waterproof,” said one viewer.
