Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea are on red alert over shock Wilson transfer

CALLUM WILSON has emerged as a shock transfer option for Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

The striker could leave Newcastle before the end of the January transfer window on a bargain deal.

Wilson was linked with a surprise move to AC Milan last week after the Magpies rejected an approach from Atletico Madrid.

However, he may leave St. James' Park before the Premier League transfer deadline on February 1.

According to the StandardNewcastle could sell Wilson for £18million this month.

His availability has put Chelsea, Arsenal and United on alert, the report said.

All three clubs are reportedly keen to sign a new striker, with Chelsea also said to be eyeing Aston Villa's Jhon Duran.

Meanwhile, United are among the clubs believed to be in the race to sign Karim Benzema.

Wilson recently addressed rumors surrounding his future in the latest episode of his Football podcast for football players with Michael Antonio.

He explained: “It's January. The window is open and there's always speculation with players, not just myself but everyone else in the squad. I don't have much more to say.”

The 31-year-old has 18 months left on his contract after signing an extension in September.

Currently sidelined with a calf injury, Wilson has scored eight goals this season despite previous hamstring problems.

Since joining Newcastle from Bournemouth in 2020, the England international has scored 46 goals in 102 appearances.

A move in January could secure his place in Gareth Southgate's squad for the 2024 Euros.

Wilson has scored twice in his nine Three Lions caps since his debut in 2018.
