The Red Devils took the lead at the Etihad thanks to a Marcus Rashford strike, but City’s dominance eventually won in the second half, with Manchester’s blue side winning 3-1.

Man Utd need to get back to winning ways against the Toffees if they want to keep their hopes of European football alive next season.

Elsewhere, Everton are five points clear of the bottom three after their 10-point deduction for breaching the Premier League’s profitability and sustainability rules was reduced to six on appeal.

Sean Dyche will be hoping his side can go to Old Trafford and cause an upset by claiming the Toffees’ first win in the top flight since December 16.
