Violence erupts as Western Sydney couple are hospitalized after being hit by a car in Doonside
A man and a woman have been rushed to hospital after being mowed down by a car in an alleged collision in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services arrived at Cygnus Close, Doonside, just before 9pm on Monday, following reports of a ‘neighborhood dispute’.
A man, 41, and woman, 42, were hit by an SUV and are now both in Westmead Hospital.

The woman suffered serious head injuries while the man, who is fighting for life, suffered injuries to his head, chest and leg.
The 27-year-old man reportedly behind the wheel of the SUV fled on foot but was arrested a short time later, 7 News reports.
He remains under police guard at Blacktown Hospital and charges are yet to be laid.
