MARCUS RASHFORD has brilliantly hit back at Manchester United legend Roy Keane with a sharp social media post.
The 26-year-old Red Devils attacker has had a difficult time so far this season. He scored four times and assisted six times in 26 games.
Man Utd icon Keane, 52, recently criticized Rashford for his attitude after scoring against Tottenham.
Speaking Air sportshe said: “We need to see more, he has shown it before, he has the quality.
“Why does he seem to be angry with everyone? He should enjoy playing for Man United.”
Now Rashford has responded to those comments with a playful response Instagram post.
The England international, who scored 30 goals last season, shared a photo of himself smiling during Man Utd training.
And he added the cheeky caption: “So he does laugh.” Have a nice day, my people! 😃❤️”
Following Keane's comments, Rashford clarified that his tribute against Spurs – which involved moving his hand up and down in the shape of a mouth – was aimed at those critical of his form.
And manager Erik ten Hag urged both Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund to keep improving after the pair hit the back of the net in the 2-2 draw with Ange Postecoglou's side.

He said: 'I hope they will continue with this progress.
“You see that they come up with routines, that's what you need.
“You need it everywhere, but especially on the front lines, where there are tight areas and quick decisions have to be made.
“You need the right decisions in a split second, so you need that intuition.”
Man Utd, who were dumped out of the Champions League in the group stages, are languishing in eighth place in the Premier League.
Goals were difficult to achieve for Ten Hag's men, as they only scored 24 goals in 21 games.
That is the joint fourth fewest in the division, behind only Sheffield United, Burnley and Crystal Palace.
Man Utd's last chance for success this season is in the FA Cup as they prepare to face League Two side Newport in the fourth round on Sunday.
