M&S is doing a Mother’s Day afternoon tea for £10 and shoppers are saying ‘count me in’
MOTHER’S Day is just days away and M&S has launched an “amazing” £10 afternoon tea deal to mark the occasion.
The offer is available in 112 Marks and Spencer cafes across the UK.
Mother’s Day falls on Sunday March 10 this year, but M&S has made its deal available all week.
It’s available for just £10 per person, or £20 for two.
The deal includes a selection of sandwiches, a scone with Cornish clotted cream, jam and British strawberries, a mini chocolate cupcake, a cinnamon sugar palmier and a macaron.
The Sun has asked M&S for a list of all the sandwiches included in the selection and we will update this story as soon as we hear back.
Anyone looking to spice up the meal can add a mini bottle of prosecco or non-alcoholic prosecco for an extra £5.
If you don’t want to upgrade, you still get tea included in the deal.
There is also a gluten-free option, including a New Yorker sandwich with cheddar cheese, a fruit scone with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam, fresh berries and a lemon shortbread.

It’s not the first time M&S has done this deal, and fans have taken to social media to share their excitement about the return of the deal.
One Facebook user said: “Count me in.”
Another said: “Wow looks amazing!”
A third shouted: “I want to try this!”
Last year the deal cost £12.50 for one, or £25 for two.
The Sun asked M&S if there were any changes to this year’s deal that may have affected the price.
M&S has also made a big change to Connie the Caterpillar ahead of Mother’s Day.
It said the limited edition Connie is the “perfect way to spoil someone this Mother’s Day”.

Asda has a range of meal deals, including breakfast in bed and Sunday roasts, for families who prefer to celebrate at home.
The breakfast in bed bundle costs £4.95 for croissants, crumpets and strawberry preserves.
In addition, the supermarket giant has lowered the price are medium beef roast from £11 to £8 from now until March 10.
M&S has now opened three new stores, including a ‘megastore’.
In addition, the retailer has become the largest seller of women’s clothing in Britain.
