The burger will disappear from the main menu from February 6, just over a month after its return.

Consisting of two beef patties, a slice of cheddar cheese, crispy and raw onions and lettuce before being topped with a creamy pepper sauce in a toasted bun – the Steakhouse Stack burger was a much-loved addition.

Fans have been begging for a return since its launch in March 2023 to a very happy and hungry audience.

Another stated: “Absolutely the best McDonald's burger ever.

“Serious combination of flavors. I love it.”

As the last satisfied customer, he heaped praise, saying, “Whoever hired Ronald McDonald to invent the steakhouse stack deserves the world.”

But after hearing the sad news of his departure next one Last week someone said: “Steakhouse Stack is probably the best burger you've ever released, the patties taste better, even without the pepper sauce it's by far the best.

“But like all good things you take it away and leave the boring old menu the same.”

It's not just the burger that fans will be saying goodbye to next week.

The Fajita Chicken wrap, which was first introduced to menus in January 2020, will also be eliminated alongside the tasty Cheesy Garlic Bites.

Among the new items are a pair of delicious desserts in the KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry and Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie.

And the classic KitKat Milk Chocolate McFlurry makes its return.

Replacing the Steakhouse Stack is the Big Lekker and the Big Lekker with bacon.
