McDonald's will add a new burger to its menus on February 7

But foodies looking to get their hands on the new addition will have to be quick, as it will only be on the menu for six weeks.

It comes after Maccie's launched the McSpicy in July 2021, with the item becoming a fan favorite.

Thomas O'Neil, head of menu at McDonald's UK and Ireland, said: “This collaboration with Frank's RedHot gave us such an exciting opportunity to build on an already iconic product and create something truly spicy but also delicious.”

McDonald's said the new McSpicy with Frank's RedHot sauce burger will be the chain's spiciest yet.

The menu item consists of a chicken breast patty covered in a crispy coating, jalapenos, Frank's RestHot Mayo, lettuce, Emmental cheese and onions, all wrapped in a toasted sesame seed bun.

The twist on the classic McSpicy will be available in all British and Irish restaurants, drive-thrus and via home delivery apps.

Foodies pay £5.59 for the burger alone and £7.29 as part of a meal.

It comes as McDonald's is set to launch two never-before-seen pink desserts and a favorite burger on February 7.

The new items include the KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry and Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie.

The popular Big Lekker and the Big Lekker with bacon are now both back.

The new items will also only be on the menu for a limited time, until March 12, while some other items make way.

The Steakhouse Stack burger, which fans have been begging for to return since March 2023, will be axed.

In addition, the Fajita Chicken wrap, which was first introduced to menus in January 2020, will be removed from the menu.

And the Cheesy Garlic Bites are saying goodbye, as are the Cadbury McFlurrys.

How to Save Money at McDonald's

You might not think it, but you may be charged more based solely on the McDonald's restaurant you choose.

Research by The Sun has found that a Big Mac meal can be up to 30p cheaper in restaurants just two miles apart.

Meanwhile, you can buy a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 by completing a feedback survey found on an old McDonald's receipt.

The receipt should contain a 12-digit code that you can enter on the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.

You will then receive a five-digit code, which is your voucher for the €2.99 offer.

Make sure you check out all the different apps and platforms if you're also ordering McDonald's to your home.
