MCDONALD’S is dropping the price on two fan favorites, but fans will have to act quickly as it’s only for one day.

The popular fast food chain is cutting the price of its Double McMuffins to just £1.99 and Big Macs will cost just £1.49 – but only on February 26.

The offer is only available through the McDonald’s app.

Fans can sink their teeth into a Double McMuffin as part of the breakfast menu starting at 5 a.m.

The Double Sausage or Double Bacon and Egg McMuffin normally costs £4.39.

While the ever-popular Big Mac is available for half price from 11am.

Customers can earn points when they purchase one of these deals by signing up for MyMcDonald’s Rewards.

The system means that every penny spent equals one Rewards point, so this week’s offers will earn you 199 points if you grab a Double McMuffin and 149 points if you grab a Big Mac.

There is also an option for customers to donate the cash equivalent of their points to BBC Children in Need, FareShare and Ronald McDonald House Charities to support the company’s commitment to funding and supporting youth work, in addition to reducing food poverty and waste in Britain.

The McDonald’s app can be downloaded from Google Play or the Apple App Store by logging in and signing up for MyMcDonald’s Rewards.

One fan, who is part of the bargain hunting group on Facebook, was clearly happy with the price cut, writing: “Happy days.”

Another wrote: “Looks like we’re getting a Maccies breakfast tomorrow.”

The KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry and Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie were initially available through the app before going on wider sale.
