Millie Bobby Brown sees her return to the big screen in the upcoming Netflix film Lady.
“Entering the Age of Warriors. Lady coming to Netflix on March 8,” the streaming service captioned a January 2024 teaser photo from the film directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.
Brown plays the “determined and courageous” Elodie, whose marriage falls apart when her prince charming turns out not to be who she thinks.
“It's an exciting adventure with a very dark twist that will keep you on the edge of your seat,” Fresnadillo told Netflix. Tudum on Thursday, February 1 of the upcoming project. “As a filmmaker, I always want to surprise the audience with a new take on a story. Especially this kind [traditional story] – we need to modernize those stories with new, more modern and real ways to connect with audiences.
Although it is a “fantasy” film, Fresnadillo said it is “based in reality” and that the film looked “as real” as possible.
Lady marks Brown's latest film since 2022's Enola Holmes 2. Keep reading for all the details on the upcoming film.
