A model has sparked renewed controversy over her “proudly child-free” life after she mocked young mothers in an Instagram video on Sunday.

Ellie Gonsalves, 33, who previously shared a controversial list of 118 reasons not to have children, uploaded a scathing anti-parenting clip to Instagram.

The reality star shared images of a young mother struggling to dress her screaming and wiggling toddler.

Ellie mocked the chaotic video as one of herself sat peacefully on the sofa while dressing her well-behaved dog.

The blonde then smiled and gave her calm Pomeranian a hug, showing that she is enjoying being child-free.

Many followers criticized Ellie in the comments of her video, criticizing her for “somehow overriding someone else's decision to validate yours.”

'There is clearly no good intention in this message. Not sure or satisfied with your choices? Or are you trying to provoke a reaction from people who are?' wrote one person.

Another said: 'We get it, you don't want kids. there's no need to put it all on your Instagram.”

Someone else suggested that Ellie shouldn't try to “influence” people who consume her content with thoughts of a child-free life.

'It's fine if you don't want children, but you don't have to influence your followers. Unfollow, they said.

Despite the amount of hate comments she received, several fans rushed to Ellie's defense, with one person commenting: 'There are so many mommy bloggers you can follow if you want to see people happy about their choice to have children. It's not that deep.'

Another added: 'If your comment is negative… Here's a crazy idea… Don't follow her! She can post whatever she wants on HER Insta.”

A third said: 'When people share their joy about pregnancy and children, they get praise. But when someone shares his joy about not having children, he is bullied. This is the society we live in. The right to be online is more than a joke.'

Ellie came under fire last November for sharing her list of 118 reasons not to have children.

Her reasons included: 'hair loss after childbirth, your vagina becomes different, your house never gets tidy, childbirth can cause rectal prolapse and you miss things you enjoy doing'.

“I've already received hundreds of DMs criticizing me and telling me how horrible and broken I am,” she wrote alongside the list at the time.

“And while some of those things on my list are satirical, many of them are serious and factual. The societal pressure when it comes to this issue is really questionable and I think it's unfair to people with different opinions.”

“Very rarely do we see a voice supporting this because let's face it, the public backlash can be too great,” the reality star added.

'I think that once you decide to bring consciousness into this world… you can never and should not avoid that responsibility again. I don't want to accept that responsibility and I don't see myself ever accepting that responsibility,” Ellie continued.

“My position is NOT for everyone, it is for one person, the person I speak on behalf of, ME. However, I find it painful when I see people who feel pressured to make this decision based on friends, family and societal pressures. I know this all too well because I have felt it most of my life.”

Ellie's followers were quick to share their thoughts on her list, with many supporting her but others being highly critical.

'So much fear. It's better not to have children if that's what you want to teach them. Gosh, so many self-centered people in this world,” one person commented.

'Why are people so concerned? It's none of their business, it has no effect on their lives and yet they're so upset about it. Completely your choice!' said another.

Another wrote, “Remember that you were once a baby and someone made the sacrifice so that you could have life and experience the gift of life.

'Children are the most incredible miracle and the future of humanity. Certainly not everyone needs to have children. But biology doesn't lie: the female body was created to produce the gift of life.'

Yet another commented, “Your 'list' of why you don't want kids is all negative, but what about the positives? The positives completely outweigh it. Of course it is a person's choice whether they want to become a parent, but a large part of your list was, in my opinion, for very vain reasons.'

'I never wanted children. Now that I have them, I know why I didn't want them. Now that they are here, of course I love them and do everything for them, but the daily grind is hard,” said one mother.

“People who push children on you are miserable and want you to suffer like they do,” wrote another.

'There are enough children in this world anyway, it is not every woman's job to reproduce. Sometimes we need kids like you with a really hot body that protects animals, entertains and does a million other things,” another follower wrote.

Yet someone else said, 'I am with you. I'm 40, have no children and have never wanted children. I will be happy as a mother of fur babies.

'A colleague once asked me, “If you don't have children, who is going to take care of you when you're old?” I remember thinking (and I still do) that that's a selfish reason to have children.'

Another parent offered, “Kids suck. Period of time. Ask ANY parent who can be honest. They suck 80-90% of the time.

“Then a whopping 10% of the time, especially when they're sick and need you and aren't crazy, sweet and cuddly, then it's great to be a parent.” If I was a gambler, I wouldn't do that.'
