A SHOPPER has been brutally targeted after admitting he emptied shelves of meat to feed his four-legged friend.

The delighted shopper took to Facebook to proudly show off his monster catch with several cuts of meat bagged at impressive savings.

According to the man who posted the photo of the purchase Shopping tips, tricks and offers with yellow stickers On the page he had seen plastic meat packages covered in yellow stickers, and he had made sure he got the most out of the deal.

After taking the platform by storm, the foodie also shared his top tips for scoring the best bargains – and the exact time to hit the shops.

Replying to a 'struggling student', the shopper said: 'The best time I've really found is like on a Sunday around 2-3pm where most places like Sainsbury's, Tesco and my favorite Morrison's close at 4am and please throw away all products… but it is never guaranteed.

“First come, first get.”
