Mount Pritchard police investigate after body found in Western Sydney
A man’s body has been found in the middle of a suburban road in Sydney’s south-west.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Pritchard Street and Hemphill Avenue in Mount Pritchard at around 3am on Wednesday, where a man was found with significant injuries.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, despite paramedics’ attempts to save him.
Police and forensic officers remain at the site, which has been designated a crime scene.

Detectives were seen going door to door interviewing residents who may have seen or heard something.
Police understand that the man may have been hit by a car.
Police are calling on witnesses or people with information about the incident to come forward and help with the investigation.
