A mother has told how she experienced a wave of tragic events before winning her £405,680 Lotto jackpot.

Rachel Lee took home the gigantic prize of the People's Postcode Lottery this week, after she was the only neighbor in her street to participate.

The 33-year-old NHS worker was left 'in pieces' by the deaths of her twin sons, her stepfather's double leg amputation and a car theft which all happened quickly. succession.

Rachel and husband John, 37, burst into tears as they accepted the award.

“Now I can do a master's degree in nursing and make that happen.”

Ultimately, Rachel was the only person in her postcode in Dukinfield, Manchester to achieve a major win.
