As mentioned earlier, there is a delay of forty minutes for trains on a specific section of the Mumbai Local. There is a delay of almost 40 minutes for trains between Nallasopara and Virar in Mumbai today due to signal glitch. According to a Western Railway spokesperson, “train services between Vasai and Virar stations were affected by signal disruptions on the slow and fast DOWN lines.” Another official said that repair work is underway and the fault will be resolved soon.

The signal failure occurred at 4:30 p.m. and train schedules have been delayed since then.
