Nathan Cleary’s dating history: Everything we know about the NRL star’s past relationships

The romance between NRL superstar Nathan Cleary and football sensation Mary Fowler is nothing short of a fairytale.

Ever since dating rumors emerged in August, the nation has been obsessed, following their every move and celebrating their love story as if it were our own.

The couple set the rumor mill going after they were spotted enjoying an ice cream and a walk after attending a promotional event for their shared sponsor Adidas.

While sports fans are familiar with the career of Penrith Panthers halfback Nathan, Mary stepped into the spotlight following Matildas’ incredible efforts at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Mary and Nathan currently follow each other on Instagram, but have yet to share photos of themselves together.

The couple have since been pictured packing on the PDA during a date in the park, and Cleary was spotted cheering on the Matildas star in Perth.

But before Nathan found love with the football star, he was previously romantically linked to a stunning Pilates instructor and a controversial MAFS star.

In early August, Nathan made headlines when he was spotted on a date with pilates instructor Tèah Foot.

The glamorous brunette who works for Peaches Pilates studio in Bondi, is also the sister of former Sydney Swans player Zac Foot.

According to reports, the couple enjoyed an intimate dinner together at Spice Thai restaurant in Coogee, Sydney.

According to the Daily telegramthe duo shared a simple meal and washed it down with a bottle of table water.

Cleary was engrossed in the Bondi-based beauty’s conversation and was seen leaning closer to talk to her.

He kept it casual for their dinner date, with a black hoodie and bright pink shorts, while Tèah wore a stylish tan overcoat.

Nathan was previously linked to MAFS bride Carolina Santos before she took part in the Channel Nine dating show.

According to Yahoo‘Nathan previously had an affair with Carolina’ before dating MAFS groom Daniel Holmes in 2022.

“They were in touch before she started filming MAFS. It was never anything serious, but the football guys always teased him when her season finally aired,” a source claimed.

Nathan was also pictured kissing Love Island Australia’s Tina Provis at a party in Bali earlier this year.

As for Fowler, the football star has kept her past relationships tightly hidden.

The Manchester City star and NRL premiership winner have been romantically linked since they were spotted together twice following the Matildas’ World Cup campaign.

They first attracted attention as a potential couple when they were spotted together on a leisurely walk along the Nepean River in Penrith in Sydney’s west.

The pair were then seen sharing an ice cream after a promotional event hosted by Adidas, a brand that both athletes endorse.

Last Sunday, Cleary was photographed with two Matildas fans outside Optus Stadium, moments before the Aussies’ 8-0 win over the Philippines, with Fowler scoring the opening goal.

Matildas supporter Annie Lewin shared Cleary’s photo with the caption ‘stupid for the tillies’, giving the clearest indication to date that there was a romantic link between the pair.

Cleary was previously partying with friends and family in Bali.

On Tuesday, Daily Mail Australia’s exclusive photos showed the couple enjoying each other’s company and laughing after grabbing a takeaway coffee, with one onlooker describing their interaction as “low-key but cute.”

“There was a man who recognized him and they shook hands and Mary laughed, then they were just laughing and walking very close to each other,” the passerby said.

A relaxed Fowler wore a white singlet, shorts and trainers with her hair tied back and a cap, while Cleary wore a large black knee brace after being injured in the Penrith Panthers’ NRL grand final last month.

The NRL star also liked a post Fowler made to Instagram on Monday – the first time he has made that move on social media.

Fowler posted a series of images from the Matildas Olympic Games qualifiers, which were loved by a host of teammates and fellow athletes, including Cleary.
