Netflix’s ‘Bridgerton’ inspires the Allure Bridals collection

Bridgerton and its spin-off, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Storycollaborated with Allure Bridals to create a line of modern Regency-era wedding dresses.
The line – which launched on the catwalk in San Marino, California on Monday, December 11 – features a number of classic, whimsical and colorful dresses designed by the show’s costume designer. Lyn Paulo. According to a press releaseThe dresses will range from $1,600 to $3,000 and will be available in bridal stores worldwide.
One of the numbers has lace puff sleeves, a square neckline, a corset bodice and an A-line skirt decorated with glitter.

The collection also includes more traditional wedding gowns with graceful delicate designs, ruffled skirts, off-the-shoulder necklines, peplum sleeves and more.
Elsewhere in the press statement, Paolo talked about the collection. “It was such an honor and a pleasure to work with the amazing team at Allure who were so supportive and cooperative throughout the design process.”

In the Netflix series several Bridgerton characters walked down the aisle wearing a similar look as in the collection.
Queen Charlotte, for her part (played by India Amarteifio) wore a corset frame dress with sleeves finished with a tulle peplum lining and a pleated skirt when she married King George.
