Vanessa Lachey And Nick Lachey enjoying life with their little ones since starting their family in 2012.
The couple’s son, Camden, arrived in Austin a year after their wedding in 2011. He became a big brother when their daughter, Brooklyn, was born in 2015, followed by son Phoenix the following year.
Nick loves ‘the craziness’ of raising kids, the ‘What’s Left on Me’ singer said We weekly exclusive in January 2017, adding: “[It’s] part of the fun. … You have to embrace that side of it. I wake the kids up every day. Morning time is kind of like ‘daddy time,’ and that’s something I look forward to every day.”
When it comes to the personalities of Camden, Brooklyn and Phoenix, the eldest seems to be following in his father’s footsteps the most. “He loves music and he loves singing,” the Kentucky native said Us at the time. “We put him to bed, and on the monitor we hear singing in his bedroom – and who knows what he’s singing about, but you can hear him singing along!”
The duo is consciously planning to show their three children’s PDA and tells us exclusively in March 2021 why they think it’s ‘important’ to provide examples of compassion ‘without making it inappropriate’.
Vanessa explained, “We hug and kiss. We make a sandwich where mom and dad hug you in the middle and kiss you in the middle. That physical connection is very important and that show of affection. … We need to remind ourselves that physical touch is good and okay. They do not [get grossed out]satisfying.”
