No Virat Kohli; BCCI announces squad for remaining 3 Test matches against England

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the squad for the remaining three Test matches against England. Virat Kholi will not feature in the series against Three Lions.

Virat Kohli has also missed the first two Test matches due to personal reasons and now the batsman will not feature in the rest of the series either.

“Virat Kohli will not be available for selection for the rest of the series due to personal reasons. The Board fully respects and supports Mr. Kohli's decision,” BCCI said.

Injured KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja who missed the first Test match are part of the squad. However, their participation is subject to their eligibility.

Shreyas Iyer, who has been making headlines, has also missed out on the spot for the remaining Test matches. Mohammed Siraj, who was rested in the second game, has made a comeback in the series.

The third Test will start from February 15, 2024 in Rajkot while the fourth Test will start in Ranchi from February 23, 2024. The fifth and final Test of the series will be played in Dharamsala from March 7, 2024.
