Not Rohit; Kohli will become India’s most popular sportsperson in November 2023 – REPORT

Centurion: Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are two of the greatest hitters of the era. The two are extremely popular among fans and are treated like demigods in India. As the two stars get ready to take on the South African power in the two-match Test series, a report claims that Kohli will be the most popular sportsperson in India in November 2023. While Kohli tops the list, Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni is at number 2 and he is followed by Rohit.

The fourth spot on the list is occupied by Portuguese football captain Cristiano Ronaldo and former batting legend Sachin Tendulkar completes the top-5.

Meanwhile, India will look to break the 31-year curse of not winning a Test series in South Africa. Under South African conditions it will certainly not be easy. Kohli and Rohit should play a big role in that if that has to happen.

“It’s a short series this time, there will be little time to come back, so if you don’t start well there may be no margin for a comeback. The biggest challenge here is the fact that the pitches have a lot of bounce and seam movement. It can be difficult to hit. The processes are results-oriented.
