Energy bills are set to hit their lowest level in two years as Brits get a £238 cash boost

The price cap on energy bills was first introduced by regulator Ofgem on January 1, 2019.

The price ceiling is intended to prevent Britons from paying too much with expensive rates.

From 2022 onwards we saw a period of price caps, which caused British energy bills to skyrocket.

Today it was announced that the price cap will drop from the current rate of £1,928 to £1,690.
