GOLF influencer Paige Spiranac is making serious money from her social media career.
Paige has built a mighty following of four million followers on Instagram.
Meanwhile, world golf number 1 Scheffler has 676,000 followers.
And this means that 27-year-old Paige is giving up quite a bit in terms of social media revenue per post.
In fact, research Vegas Insider suggests that Paige, 30, earns as much as four times more per post.
The research shows that Paige earns between $8,477 (£6,692) and $12,716 (£10,000) per post.
Scheffler, on the other hand, earns $2,000 (£1,578) to $3,000 (£2,368) per post.
Not that Scheffler will be too worried as he has won a whopping $8.5m (£6.7m) in prize money in the last two weeks for winning his last two tournaments, including Players Championship.
The research methodology for the data factors in per-post engagement rate, post type extras, and additional considerations.
It concluded that the average golf influencer earns $2,000 to $12,716 per post.
Another PGA Tour golfer, Chris Kirk, earned between $140 and $211 per post because he had 20,200 followers on Instagram.
The overall data showed that the average Tour Pro player can earn around $994 per post, while the average influencer – including names like Grace Charis – can earn around $4,837.
