Pink and husband Carey Hart plan to ‘move to Australia’ to start a ‘new chapter’ for their family

American singer Pink, real name Alecia Beth Moore, and husband Carey Hart are about to make a semi-permanent move to Australia.

According to a report in New idea On Monday, the singer, 43, hopes for a ‘new chapter’ for her husband and family.

The report goes on to say that Pink, who will perform in Australia this summer, has her sights set on Down Under.

“Australia is going to be such a special time. Setting up their long-awaited dream base Down Under, where they can escape the winter months, will be just what the doctor ordered,” the insider said.

Pink has long regarded Australia as a second home when she revealed in February that she was “exploring” possible citizenship.

Pink appeared on Australian 60 Minutes where she revealed she intended to become an Australian citizen.

“Last year I thought about applying for citizenship, I’m not kidding,” she said.

Pink added that she told Carey they had to move and that she “can’t wait” to tour Australia again.

“I was like, if we’re going somewhere, Carey, we’re going there. So I was kind of looking into it,” she added.

Carey and Pink have two children: daughter Willow, 11, and son Jameson, six.

Pink has announced that its Summer Carnival Tour will visit stadiums in seven cities across Australia in February next year.
