‘Just greedy’ shoppers slam the man who cleared the Lego shelf to make a profit

A YOUNG man has been criticized for buying cheap Lego sets and selling them online for a profit.

Sam, from Britain, shared his haul on social media but not everyone was impressed.

In the clip he went to Tesco to check out the toy sale and came across a bargain he couldn’t pass up on the shelves.

Sam describes himself as a ‘young entrepreneur’ and says he is on his way to becoming a millionaire.

He said: “Was seventy-five pounds now £18.50” when he saw the Lego Friends Sea Rescue Boat.

“How about this one?” He said as he noticed another Lego set on the shelf called the Lego Friends Skate Park.

“£45 now £11. What. I have to get them all,” he explained, stunned by the low price.

He quickly cleared the shelves of all the bargains and put them in his cart.

When he got to the car, he went to scan the items on an app called BuyBotGo, which revealed how much they would sell for on Amazon and how many times people had bought them in the past month.

Just greedy.

He explained: “These are the big ones. They will sell for £47, we will buy for £18.

“So what’s our profit on this? £10.96 profit, 59% ROI (return on investment).

“That’s great, it also sells quite well.”

The next one The Lego set he picked up was selling for £30 online.

“We’ll buy this for 12.50. What’s the profit on this? £3.80 profit, 30% ROI, that’s OK,” he said, somewhat disappointed with the payout.

Amazon FBA is a service that online sellers can use, where Amazon takes care of the storage, packaging and shipping of your products.

He added that now all he had to do was box them up and put them on Amazon.

Sam said, “These Legos are going to pay for the weekly groceries without complaining.

“Stop thinking and start doing.”

The clip was posted to his TikTok account @Samsreis didn’t go well.

People were quick to call Sam out for being “greedy.”

One person wrote: “Poor parents can afford to buy something good for their kids, but no, because you’re going to buy everything.”

“Yes,” Sam replied.

Another commented: “Just greedy. What a way to ‘earn’ money at the expense of everyone. Thank you for HMC.”

“Are you allowed to sell Lego products?” wrote a third.
