Airline passengers rate their airline’s breakfast – with ‘juicy’ sausages, mediocre coffee and unappetizing pancakes all in the mix

A fleet of airline passengers have given their verdict on airline breakfasts, which include ‘juicy’ sausages, mediocre coffee and unappetizing-looking pancakes.

The travelers offer their reviews in TikTok clips and film themselves eating their morning meal, with each item also captured on camera.

Some have gone so far as to rank each dish, with influencer Ashley Yi rating her pork sausage on Korean Air an eight out of 10, while her ‘rather dry’ potatoes scored a seven.

On Malaysia Airways, TikTok duo @our.travel.diary gave their plastic-wrapped ‘white sandwich’ a three out of 10, but their tasty potato and egg omelette received an impressive ‘100 out of 10’ ranking.

TikTok creator @munchwithyou filmed everything she ate on a Singapore Airlines flight for her followers.

It appears she was in one of the premium classes as her meal was presented on crockery rather than disposable cups.

The main ingredient of her morning meal was soy chicken with noodles, a croissant, strawberry yogurt, fruit salad and unglazed cupcake.

In the TikTok, she caused a stir among her followers by eating the croissant with a dollop of yogurt on top.

She said, “It’s so good, try it.”

Her followers didn’t seem convinced, however, with one commenting: ‘All the French people are now crying in a corner.’

Emirates

TikToker @anjaliwandelen took a Business Class flight with Emirates and documented everything she ate while flying in luxury.

Her TikTok reveals that the plane tray, decorated with a white cloth, contains several dishes, including waffles with berry compote, fruit salad and a croissant with butter and strawberry jam.

During the clip you can see her digging into the waffles.

In the accompanying caption, she explains, “This was so good, I still think about it.”

She also explained in the comments section that hot food was offered, such as an English breakfast, but she opted for waffles instead.

During a 16-hour flight to Sydney in economy with Air Canada, TikTok creator Sammy K (@skzzolno) went around and looked at her ‘breakfast package’.

In a video clip, she reveals a mix of morning treats, including “pancakes, fruit, a little bread and butter… utensils and water.”

Meanwhile, her friend sitting next to her shows her omelet, which she says, “looks really tasty.”

When she opens her plastic container of pancakes, Sammy seems less sure of her choice, but when she tries them, she changes her mind.

She tells her fans, “It’s pretty good. I mean, it’s not like good, good… but edible.’

On the way to the coffee, she describes it as a “simple black roast” that is “fine.”

Overall, she thinks the breakfast offering is ‘solid’.

Delta

Travel influencer Joanne, who goes by the handle @backpackerflipflops, created a TikTok to show off her breakfast while flying in First Class on Delta from New York to Fort Lauderdale.

Her camera pans around to reveal a main course that resembles a generous square omelet, accompanied by two stalks of asparagus and a tomato.

Other items on her tray include a croissant, which she said was “delicious,” and a bowl of fruit salad, which she notes “you can’t mess it up.”

However, she did not give the egg chapter a positive review, stating that she probably should have chosen one of the other two options offered.

“I just didn’t like this!” she exclaimed.

Korean air

While flying Korean Air, TikTok influencer Ashley Yi filmed herself eating breakfast, rating each item in her dish.

First, she takes a bite of chive omelet with fried peppers and gives an expression of delight as she savors the taste.

The egg creation gets an impressive nine out of ten.

She then tries a slice of pork sausage and gives it an eight out of 10, finding it ‘juicy’ and ‘good flavour’.

From the side of her dish, Ashley tries a mouthful of red-skinned baked potatoes, which she gives a lower score of seven out of 10 because they were “quite dry.”

Continuing her food review, she notes in the overlapping caption that “the spinach and cherry tomato were a 10 out of 10 with the omelet.”

Along with a hot breakfast, Ashley was given a croissant, which she said goes perfectly with butter and jam, a yogurt she wasn’t particularly fond of, and a giant muscat grape that she described as “ELITE.”

After her meal, she concluded, “We’re landing in two hours, but I’m having trouble staying awake after that breakfast.”

KLM

Izzy Laborda took a trip with Dutch airline KLM and made a TikTok capturing breakfast time in economy.

She explained in an overlay that “we’re having a bargain breakfast today with a side of Miss Congeniality” as she watched the movie on her screen while eating.

During her flight, she received a wheat ciabatta sandwich, strawberry yogurt, fruit salad and coffee.

In the clip, she exclaimed, “let’s eat, I’m hungry!”

She gave the sandwich, including egg, Gouda cheese and ‘dijonnaise’, an eight out of ten.

After finishing the stack, she grabbed the “cute cream and sugar wrappers” and showed the little packages to the camera.

While she was in the mood for coffee, Izzy was unimpressed with her cup of joe, giving it a one out of 10, along with a look of disgust.

Finally, she ate her fruit salad and gave it a satisfying 10.

Malaysia airlines

TikTok duo @ons.reisdagboek filmed themselves having breakfast during a flight to Kuala Lumpur on Malaysia Airlines.

She describes the first item as an ‘egg and vegetable burger’ and rates it a seven.

After the prepared dish, she unpacks a ‘white roll’ and gives it a three out of ten.

Meanwhile, her partner’s omelette with potatoes and egg gets a nod and a rating of six out of ten.

But as he chews a few more times, he gives it a ‘100/10.’

She continues with her own produce tray and her vanilla dessert gets a 10 out of 10, as does a miniature blueberry muffin to finish.
