Vande Bharat Latest Update: The Indian Railways has approved a new train service under the banner of everyone’s favorite Vande Bharat Express. The newly approved Bhubaneswar-Vizag Vande Bharat train will help commuters travel comfortably between Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam. With the introduction of this train, Bhubaneswar now has three Vande Bharat Express trains, making travel to other parts of Odisha and neighboring states easier.
An online inauguration ceremony is planned on March 12, i.e. today, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to officially launch the service. “The inaugural train may be scheduled as a special service, which should pick up its connectivity later,” said a communication from Director (Coaching) Railway Board Sanjay R Neelam to the Managing Director of East Coast Railway (ECoR) about the Vande Bharat Express .
Bhubaneswar-Vizag Vande Bharat Express: Complete Schedule
The schedule of the newly launched Vande Bhrat train is quite simple and reassuring for commuters. The journey starts bright and early from Bhubaneswar, at 5:15 AM, and reaches Visakhapatnam at 11:00 AM that day. The return slip states the Bhubaneswar–Vizag Vande Bharat the train leaves Visakhapatnam at 3:30 PM and rolls back to Bhubaneswar at 9:30 PM, all on the same day.

The Bhubaneswar–Vizag Vande Bharat The train runs on all days except Saturdays. There is a route from there Bhubaneswar and ending at Visakhapatnam, stopping at various places along the way such as Khurda Road, Berhampur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road and Vizianagaram. It is notable that the train has already undergone test runs and will cover the entire distance of 468 km Bhubaneswar Unpleasant Visakhapatnam in just about six hours and fifteen minutes.
PM will inaugurate 10 new Vande Bharat trains
The Prime Minister will inaugurate ten new Vande Bharat trains today, serving various cities such as Ahmedabad and Mumbai Central, Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam, Mysuru and Dr. MGR Central (Chennai), Patna and Lucknow, New Jalpaiguri and Patna, Puri and Visakhapatnam, Lucknow and Dehradun, Kalaburagi and Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru, Ranchi and Varanasi, and Khajuraho and Delhi (Nizamuddin).
Moreover, there will be an improvement in the existing routes of the four currently operational Vande Bharat trains, which extend from Ahmedabad to Jamnagar to Dwarka, Ajmer to Delhi to Chandigarh, Gorakhpur to Lucknow to Prayagraj and Thiruvananthapuram to Kasargod to Mangaluru.
