Pokémon is giving away a new ‘mon that only 33% of Scarlet & Violet players have

ONE of the most difficult choices in all of Pokémon is deciding who to choose as a partner.

At the start of each game you are given the choice of three Pokémon that will stay with you for the entire game.

The majority of casual players will use their starter or partner Pokémon until the end of the game, so it’s important to make the right choice.

Once you’ve made your choice, the other two Pokémon will no longer be available in the game and you’ll need to connect and trade with others if you want all three.

Pokémon is giving away one of three Scarlet & Violet starter mons, so anyone who hasn’t opted in can grab one for themselves.

Sprigatito was the Grass-type starter you could choose at the beginning of the game, and evolves into the powerful Meowscarada.

If you choose Fuecoco or Quaxly, this is your chance to get another starter.

There is a Sprigatito giveaway that will last until September, in collaboration with the Pokémon anime.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet players can collect Liko’s Sprigatito via Mystery Gift.

The Sprigatito comes at level 5, has the moves Leafage and Scratch and has a unique character.

Sprigatito’s original trainer is written as Liko, and there are two different types of ribbons you can add.

You can give it the Partner Ribbon, which gives it the title Liko’s Sprigatito, or the Classic Ribbon, which gives it the name Sprigatito, the Pokémon Fan.

To claim your Sprigatito, you will need to access the Poké Portal through the in-game menu.

Then navigate to Mystery Gift and select Receive with code/password.

You can then enter the code L1K0W1TH906 and your Sprigatito will automatically go into your party or box.
