Welcome to FC Porto vs Arsenal

The Gunners end a seven-year absence from the Champions League knockout stages as they travel to Portugal to take on FC Porto.

Porto suffered the worst fate in the league this weekend when left back Zaidu Sanusi was stretchered with a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament.

He accompanies Ivan Marcano in the treatment room, who also suffered a cruciate ligament injury earlier this season.

Stephen Eustaquio is doubtful for tonight's match, while Mehdi Taremi has been ruled out due to a kidnapper problem.

Following Taremi's injury, Evanilson will take charge and the forward is having a strong season, scoring 19 goals so far this season.

For Arsenal, Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu are all doubtful for the match.

Jurrien Timber has been named in the squad for the knockout stages as he continues his recovery from an ACL injury, while Thomas Partey and Fabio Viera are also back in training.

The latter has a chance to face his former club, but an appearance in tonight's match will undoubtedly come from the bench.
