The friendly American star shook hands with airport staff, posed for photos with fans and chatted.
He seemed eager to get his nicotine fix and lit a cigarette as soon as he hit the ground.
Earlier in the day, Post was spotted on the Gold Coast before catching the quick hour-long flight to Sydney.
