Pregnant Suki Waterhuis doesn’t let her recent illness get in the way of making new music.
“Sick in the studio 🥺” Waterhouse, 31, wrote via Instagram Story on Saturday, December 30, while sharing a selfie.
In the photo, Waterhouse wore a pink striped button-down while holding a tissue to her nose. Although the actress hasn’t revealed her ailments, she’s certainly not the only one feeling sick after festive Christmas celebrations. Stars, they really are the same way Us.
Waterhouse is currently expecting her first child with her partner Robert Pattinson. She announced her pregnancy last month during a performance at the Corona Capital 2023 Music Festival in Mexico City.
“I thought I’d wear something sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else going on,” Waterhouse joked during her set, pointing to her baby bump. “I’m not sure it works.”
Waterhouse is dating the Twilight star, 37, since July 2018, and they look forward to becoming parents in 2024.
“They moved in together earlier this year and decided it was finally the right time to expand their family,” a source exclusively shared Us in November. “Rob and Suki did a really good job of hiding this pregnancy from friends before they were ready to reveal the happy news.”
After the Daisy Jones and the Six actress had spilled the beans during her festival performance in Mexico, she was “ecstatic” by the crowd’s joyful response. The insider added: “Suki and Rob couldn’t be happier and they feel beyond blessed.”
Now that Waterhouse and Pattinson’s baby news is out, Pattinson is focusing on his love for his partner.
“[He has] I loved taking care of Suki,” said a second source in the last issue of Our weekly, on newsstands now. “It’s a very special time for their entire lives [extended] family, especially to celebrate such a magical moment during the holidays.”
Waterhouse and Pattinson have long preferred to keep their relationship to themselves.
“Must I [talk about her]? When you let people in, it devalues what love is,” Pattinson previously said during an April 2019 conversation with The Sunday times. “I can’t understand how someone can walk down the street holding hands, and it’s the same as me doing it and a hundred people taking your picture. The line between when you perform and when you don’t perform will eventually blur and you will go completely crazy.”
They didn’t make their red carpet debut until 2022, shortly before they moved in together.
‘I have such a crushing burden of anxiety because I have moved. I wasn’t there for the move, so everything was just boxed up and shipped. I’m very lucky because he’s so accepting of the mess and the chaos,” Waterhouse said on the “Driven Minds: A Type 7 Podcast” in October. “He never says anything about it. He finds it charming, so I’m very lucky with that.”
